I know Easter was about a month ago, but better late than never huh?
Easter weekend was FUN and BUSY! We held our big Easter Eggstravaganza at church on Saturday again this year. We helped set up and run it, and I even took over the microphone for announcing egg hunt line ups this year. I was in my glory . . . but I digress.

That Saturday afternoon, Sissy and I saw Peter Cottontail at the Dallas Children's Theater. For the record, this was not Peter Cottontail, but just an Easter Bunny who was available for pictures before the show. We have season tickets for the shows which Mattie enjoys - but I am pretty sure her favorite part is the chocolate cupcakes available for sale at the concession during intermission.
Easter morning was rainy, but that didn't stop the Easter bunny from bringing these nerds some treats!
Out of about 30 attempts, we got one picture of the two of them both looking at the camera.
Thankfully the rain dried up just in time for lunch, because we hosted our THIRD annual Easter lunch and egg hunt for friends. We had a full house and bellies! Thankful for our community and our church that enrich our lives!
