A monumental day

So, Mattie had a HUGE first today . . . . . she got her first haircut! Okay, so it was more like a slight trim to even things out, but it was still fun. We went to see Miss Tiffany who has been cutting Mama's hair for six years. When I got my hair cut last week, I was telling her how Sissy's hair was longer on the sides than in the back and how she had a shorter layer underneath the top one, and how one side was longer than the other . . . .man, she had lots of hair issues going on! So Tiff told me just to bring her by, since I wasn't ready for her to get a real haircut and I thought she was a little young for it. Sissy was a good girl (she just munched on her Kix the whole time) and now her hair is even all around, the ends are cleaned up, and the top layer is blended a little bit with the shorter layer.

We spent the rest of the day just hanging out - how nice!

And enjoying some animal crackers for snack time!

Love to see these events unfold! She is so precious, just like her momma. Popi loves his girls! Can't wait to see all of you one week from today.

That Sissy is just too sweet. She looks thrilled to be getting her hair trimmed. Can't wait to see the precious girl - and her mom and dad - soon!!!
