Maybe it is just me, but is it hotter than normal this year?!?!? It is hot as blazes already! What is going to happen in August? I hate it being so hot because Mattie and I usually play outside everyday for about an hour when we get home and go on walks, but it is already too hot for that. Mattie even says "too hot outside." Smart girl!
Mattie and Lily got a lot of water time this weekend, because what else do you do with toddlers when it is 98? We took them to the splash park on Friday morning. It took them a little while to warm up to it, but once they did they were off and running. They also played a good bit at the playground next to the spray park. This picture is me trying to get both of them looking at me - ha!

I loved this picture, because I took it right as Nanny came out the back door to get in the pool with them. Look at how their faces lit up!
This picture cracks me up! The girls were arguing over the fish ring, but took a time out to both lean over the side of the pool to beg for bites of Emily's ice cream!
