The kids and I took an early morning flight up to MIMI's wonderland yesterday. Matt dropped us off at the airport at 6am. The first hour of the plane ride was really smooth . . . and then, well Ben was not so thrilled with being in a seat for close to three hours. But we are here and that is all that matters :)
The kids are loving play play playing like crazy, and the weather is beautiful. Don't think we will be going swimming, but there will be plenty of time for that back in Texas!

Mattie insisted on sitting between her Uncles Aaron and Todd for dinner. Speaking of, there is nothing like being at your mom's house and having someone else cook dinner!
This morning we had breakfast and coffee outside on the patio and the kids watched for birds on the feeder.
Off for a wagon ride with Aunt Sherry!
I've already gotten in a nap and have plans to read at least one book this week. Yay for vacation!
