Splish Splash Weekend

The kids and I are officially living large this summer ;)

Daddy, Pops and Popi all went to St. Louis for a Cardinals/Rangers baseball weekend, so I took the kids to Georgetown to play with Nanny and the cousins. We had such a fun time . . .the kids may have had a little too much fun . . .they were both officially disasters by Sunday morning, but had simmered down by the time we got home (lucky for them). And bless sweet Nanny who rode back with me, helped entertain the kids in the car, kept the kids while I went to an event Sunday night and handled them Monday morning so I could get to work on time.

These two girls are joined at the hip.

Ben had some bad diaper rash going on, so pretty much let him spend one day naked. I was a little worried we would never get a diaper back on him . . .  .he loved his freedom!
As if the fabulous pool wasn't enough, the slip 'n slide was also a huge hit.
Nanny and BOO!
Nanny in "her pool" as Pops calls it, with the four babies.
Speaking of events . . . I got to be part of a team at a partner church hosting a Jen Hatmaker event Sunday night. (This is the amazing woman who wrote the 7 book and Bible study you may remember I did in the spring). She is so humorous and inspiring, yet powerful and convicting in her message delivery. I am in awe.

Happy Monday!
