Well hello! Hope you are having a great Wednesday! January is halfway over. . . .what?!?
We have just been getting back into the grove over here. After Christmas break and me being sick, it took a little effort to get back in the swing of things. . . but I think we are there :) At least at this moment. The weekend was low key, keeping busy with playing and chores around the house. Thankfully the weather has warmed up a bit - even though these girls were a little chilly on the walk to school on Monday!
Of course, Annie is now a big factor in everything we do . . . especially good-bye hugs before school. She goes to sleep with Mattie every night (we go in and get her out and crate her before bed) and then she goes to wake Mattie up with kisses every morning. And magically, we have not heard one complaint about bedtime or getting up for school lately. I think this in itself was reason enough to get the dog!!!
Tonight we are having a "picnic and movie" night at home. I have started doing this about once a week when Matt is working late. It gets dark and cold outside so early, and the kids love it! We do an early bath and then the kids picnic their dinner while we watch a special show or short movie. It makes evening time great for everyone, especially Mama ;)
