Ben's birthday weekend merged into the beginning of our first official Spring Break!
After our fun celebration with all of the grandparents on Saturday, we celebrated Ben's actual 3rd birthday on Sunday with a low key family day. Ben "helped" me teach his Sunday school class :)
We went for lunch at Jason's Deli, where we of course had ice cream!
We checked out the Dallas Flight Museum for the first time. The kids had a fun time looking at all of the different airplane models, but mostly enjoyed the play area.

Monday was a girls day! Mattie misses out on a lot now that she is in required school, so Monday was a special treat for her. Ben went to school and Sissy got to dine at the American Girl store with Sadie, her BFF from her kinder class. A playdate and then the park on a beautiful day with friends made for a fabulous Monday!
On Tuesday, Mattie got to go with Alex (her babysitter) and her family and some friends to a state park with a lake and beach, and she had a blast. Luckily, I am off work today and the rest of the week to "spring break" with my babes! A change in weather today derailed our original plans to go on a short road trip to Dinosaur Valley, but we still spent the day with friends and got to enjoy the afternoon outside at least.
