All of the sudden we are in the last six weeks of Mattie's kindergarten year. WHAT? I will have a first grader soon?!?
Last week was the "Pride Rally" for the fifth sixth week, and I am so proud of my Sissy for getting a Learning to the Next Degree award. Each six weeks, the teachers pick one boy and one girl to recognize for something such as citizenship, behavior . . . and this six weeks the award was for inquisitiveness, creativity and energy! As soon as Ms. Griffin started describing the award winner as someone who "takes questioning to a whole new level," I knew in my heart that Mattie would be the winner :)
She can also make it all the way across the rings!!! My girl is strong!
