The weekend was beautiful. Picture perfect weather, lots of fun, a little busy but in a good way for wearing the kids out!
Friday Ben and I had a date to hit Starbucks, ride the trolley, go to the children's museum and eat lunch at the downtown park. It was a perfect date with my Benny!

He was Mama's boy and wanted to hold my hand the whole time on the trolley. Melt my heart!

This one loves to slide!

And he always enjoys being "hard at work."

Sissy rejoined choir this semester and their big musical was on Sunday - Malice in the Palace, about the story of Esther. Mattie was so proud of herself and her two lines! She would try really hard not to smile during the musical numbers, but she just couldn't help herself.

And finally, the itchy! Mama got a call from the school nurse on Monday that Sister Sue had lice! Apparently it is making its way around the kinder classes. Thankfully we have some friends that have been through this already and recommended a great place to go and get treated. The whole family got checked and Sissy had spread the love to Mama also. So we had a double date yesterday at the "lice spa," which was almost glamorous. Everything in our entire house has been in the dryer on HOT HEAT.
The joys of parenting!!!
