Wonderful Weekend

I know, I'm getting worse and worse with regular blogs, but I seriously just forget! Thanks to those of you who stay with us!

We have had a wonderful weekend with family and friends . . . it really started with a fun Wednesday night. Matt's work had a family night outing at the Rough Riders game and the kids were thrilled to get to have such a fun outing on a school night - junk food, out late and play time outside!

Sissy insisted on showing her chips for the picture. SIGH. She is also really into potty humor right now which is a total joy.

Friday morning while Sissy was in school, Ben and I joined friends at the arboretum for some major run around time, picnic-ing and face painting. Ben was pumped to get ready for the patriotic weekend ;)

Saturday was a perfect family day, which included a birthday party and our first summer trip to the Kaycee Pool! Everyone was so excited, even though the water was still a little chilly!!!

After church on Sunday, we went back to the pool with friends. The biggest news of the day was that Sissy realized after bath she had lost her second tooth. Literally! We have no idea where it went . . .maybe down either the pool or the bath drain! She wrote a note for the tooth fairy and drew her a picture.

We spent the day today with our besties the Mutchellers. Even though the weather was pretty crummy and our favorite concert and fireworks got cancelled, it was a super fun day. Feeling super grateful for this weekend!
