Mother's Day Weekend!

The Vietti household has been BUSY. Mama has been too busy to take many pictures or blog apparently. 

We had a wonderful visit from Mimi and Popi over Mother's Day weekend. The weather was great (except for a torrential downpour and tornado warning one day), and we had lots and lots and lots of playtime. Mimi and I treated ourselves to a good bit of quality time stretched out over the weekend, and finished up with a family trip to our favorite patio, Mi Cocina! It is always a very rare and unexpected treat when the kids are great for a meal out, and we hit the jackpot Sunday night. It was a perfect way to end the weekend and visit.

We had some more crazy thunderstorms on Monday night and the kids wanted to snuggle and watch the rain. The thunder was "caring" Ben.

A long visit to the park was in order yesterday, as Daddy was working late and Mattie had been home with pink eye. Ben is finally starting to swing a little bit :)

And this ferocious girl was quite proud of her new ability to slide down the fireman's pole!
