We kicked off summer fun with a weekend trips to see Nanny and Pops! It was a major pool weekend, the kids love swimming! And we love them to swim - good exercise and it wears them out ;)
It would be an understatement to say Ben enjoyed his push up. His mouth was stained for quite awhile!!!
Mattie has actually been thrilled to go back to her old school for their school-age summer program, which was a pleasant surprise. Ben is also super thrilled that his Sissy is there!!! Today is a special day because Mattie is accompanying Mama to work. There is a neat day of activities for the kiddos to learn more about what their parents do, and also to have fun! (Ben didn't quite meet the age limit.) Mattie declared she wanted to swap me school for work because we go to pick out a yummy breakfast and eat out by the fountains. I didn't burst her bubble and tell her I normally eat a yogurt or something from home, at my desk while checking email. I'll let her think there is fun to look forward to in the working world!
