Rain Rain Rain

We have had SO much rain here this spring. It has been frustrating in terms of cancelled soccer games, plans for outdoor activities, rescheduling of swim lessons, etc. But it has been nice because we have had more free time than usual! Our Memorial Day weekend was mostly rainy, and we were disappointed not to get to attend the concert and fireworks at Flagpole Hill - but we got in some great family time. The kids played in the rain/mud a lot, we watched some movies, went on puddle rides and (mostly) enjoyed our time together. 

Sissy is very into reading now, so we had a Starbucks reading date while the boys were at a birthday party and getting haircuts.

We were able to squeeze in our first trip to the KC Pool when the sun broke out for a bit Sunday. These two were SO excited!

We even got in a quick swim before it rained again Monday . . . and we were able to stay under the cabana and have a late lunch with friends. Turned out to be a great day!
