SPRING BREAK BABY!
At the end of spring break week, Mattie said - I can't wait for next year's spring break. I'll take it. Matt was transitioning to his new job and was able to take the whole week off, so we had a lot of family and friend time!
After Ben's birthday celebration weekend, our first stop on the fun train was a surprise stay in a hotel with Kristin and her kids! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the milk and cookies buffet. Because of course!
We didn't know the entire week of spring break would be completely rainy when we made our plans . . . but it was and we were happy to have that indoor swimming pool.
We also did the movies, chick fil-a and lots of playtime.
Because of the weather, we filled the week up with lots of indoor activities . . . the arcade . . .
. . and bowling being two highlights!
By Friday, we were ready for some outdoor time no matter what (the muddy) cost.
And thankfully by Saturday afternoon the sun was peaking out. We hit the lake for some sunshine and walking!
As Mattie said, we can't wait to do it again next year!
