Sweet Sissy had her first real ballet recital on Sunday. Ballet has not been her favorite activity this year (there has been a lot of complaining about it), but we all agreed it was worth the drama to see this beauty perform on stage Sunday evening!
I just couldn't get over how beautiful and grown up she was.
The recital was a whole-day affair. Dress rehearsal, an early dinner with friends and then the evening recital. She enjoyed spending the entirety of the day with Sadie!
And what a proud papa she had!
Of course, Mattie has gone full circle from wanting to quit ballet, to wanting to continue with it AND add tap. Oh lord help me!
This is the video from her dress rehearsal (there was no video during the performance), and I could watch it 100 times!
