So, this is Matelyn, ready to start her day at 5:30 a.m. Does she not look like a six month old in this picture?? She is so awake and alert, it is scary. Much more awake than mom and dad at 5:30, by the way.
The absolute highlight of the week - Meg and Sophie came to visit! Meg was one of the first people to meet Matelyn in the hospital, but sweet Sophie was so excited to meet Mattie yesterday. . . she even brough one of her own toys to share with her :) She was such a good helper too, wanting to hold Mattie and even help her keep her pacifier in. I am so thankful for Meg's friendship - her listening ear during these first few weeks of Mattie's life have been invaluable! She is an amazing mother and friend!

Those two girls are both sooo precious - Sophie and Mattie. Mattie is very lucky to have such a sweet friend!
