Our friends Shane and Meg staying with us the weekend of the White Rock marathon has become a December tradition. Usually Shane and Meg both run, but since she is PREGGO!, Shane ran the full solo, and Matt ran the half. I am thinking I might be back in shape enough to run at least the half next year. We shall see. . . . . since right now, I am maxed out at about 20 minutes of running (or more accurately, jogging). More importantly, we love getting to spend this weekend with our sweet friends right before the holidays :)

Meg and I were looking for Shane to cross that finish line. (And, yes, we are that pretty with no shower or makeup!)
Also on Saturday, my friends Jamie and Halston were in town, and came by to meet Matelyn for the first time! Mattie enjoyed showing off lots of smiles for them, as well as her conversation skills! I swear, she did smile a lot!!! I am going to have to get a new camera that doesn't give her time to react to the flash.
