Here is Sissy cheesing at herself in the mirror in the play area while we waited for our turn. (Yes, her hair is SO long! I try to keep it clipped back with a bow, but since we were about to go in the water, she didn't have one in.)
She was clinging to me like there was no tomorrow when we first got in. Only a few little tears were shed. No wailing.
She warmed up really quickly though, and her teacher Miss Debbie had her doing monkey crawls on the rail in no time.

It looks like SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!! I am glad it went well! Mattie will have to come swimming with Jake in his baby pool one day soon! And I forgot to tell you how much Mattie LOVED the mirror in Jacob's playroom!!!

There is nothing cuter than babies in swimsuits! I am so glad Sissy enjoyed her first swim lesson. Maybe she will like her pool soon ;-)
i LOVE LOVE mommy and me swim classes!! we have done them with sophie every summer, and they are some of my favorite memories (and pictures!!). and i agree with your mom, nothing cuter than babies in swimsuits. hooray for a time in life when rolls are adorable :)!!
