Friday Fun!

Mattie and I had a playdate with Sarah and Jake on Friday, first to the sprinkle park and then to Jake's house for lunch and playtime! I didn't get any pics at the sprinkle park, but here is Mattie eating lunch in Jake's tough guy bib, which we thought was really funny.

Friday night, we had a special outing to see Jocelyn's band play at an outdoor amphitheatre. (Jocelyn is our friend, Matt's co-worker, and our family photographer!) Jocelyn is so multi-talented!!!! Mattie had a fabulous time running around at the concert. She really enjoyed waving to random people, dancing to the music and playing in the grass. A sweet grandma sitting near us really wanted to take a family picture for us, so we obliged.

This is a little shot of her walking towards me in the grass. It doesn't do justice to how well she is walking now, because she walks non-stop and hardly ever tumbles. . . . I think the grass was tripping her up a little bit. But you can see how much fun she was having!
