It was a close game. . . kind of. . . .

We arrived in Ann Arbor on Friday. First stop, Popi's rehearsal. She was so excited to see her Popi and went right up with him to conduct for awhile. All of the girls just oooh-ed and awww-ed. One of them sent this pic she took with her iphone.
Next stop, Mimi's backyard. She couldn't wait to get out and explore, after being in the car, airplane and then car. She was really good on the plane, by the way. . . .she even took a nap for the last hour of the flight.
On the swing with Nanny. We have been building fires outside every evening - it is fall here for real!
Saturday was game day. Little Sissy in her Michigan gear.
Mattie with her two grandmothers before the game.
We had to let her play with a pumpkin to keep her in the picture taking mood!
We met up with the boys at the marching band building before the game, so Sissy could meet all of Popi's colleagues.
The drumline does an awesome pre-game show before every game. She absolutely loved it. We think she is going to be a percussionist. Also, everyone said she was a doll and she loved the attention. I don't think think they are used to the big bows up there in the north.

She was grinning up a storm during the drum show.
Watching the band march up to the stadium.
Our view from the front row seats!
Popi up on the ladder.
We got to go down on the field after the game. It was a fun day - we felt sorry for the Michigan team, but we still managed to thoroughly enjoy ourselves!
