Who doesn't love a great weekend?

Wow - this weekend has been just what we needed! We have been so busy lately, that having a weekend with nothing on the calendar but a birthday party and church today . . . leaving us lots of family time . . . was just perfect! Mattie had a lot of fun with her first bounce house experience yesterday. I forgot my camera, so you will have to take my word for it! The weather has been so nice that we spent a ton of time outdoors each day.
Sissy is starting to outsmart me already. Today when we got home from church she wanted to play outside. So I told her, we need to go in and have lunch and take our nap, because after nap we can go to the park. So she went in with me somewhat willingly and started yelling "night night" and wanted to get right in bed. She didn't even want to eat lunch, because I told her after nap we could go to the park. So I guess I need to start being a little more strategic in my bribing :)
In other news, I have counted five freckles on Sissy that have just popped up all the sudden. So I have turned into the sun protection crazy mom. We made her wear a hat on the promised trip to the park today. She kept taking it off at first, but Matt and I wore them too and she eventually got used to it and wanted it on.

I have been letting her eat outside on her picnic table, which is a win win - she loves it and I don't have to clean the floor when she is done :)
