Raffe! Raffe! Raffe!

Sissy calls a Giraffe a "Raffe," and from the second we saw the giraffe at the zoo entrance she was one excited girl. She loved the zoo! The Dallas Zoo is not the best zoo ever, but it has enough activity and animals for a girl her age. Especially since I discovered the children's zoo section this time around. Score!

Mimi and Sissy at the "duck pond." She liked walking around the bridge the most.
Sissy and Mama checking out the "RAFFE!"
And Popi too!

The zoo has the statues all around, and she liked those as much as the real animals, because she could climb and sit on them.

My excellent photography skills caught the "No smoking" sign as a nice backdrop for a pic.
The children's zoo has a stream running through it that the kids can splash in. She LOVED getting splashed by the big kids while they ran by.
She finally got brave enough to run through herself.
The biggest hit of the zoo was Sissy's first pony ride! She was not scared at all and was super excited to get right on that "Nay."
Popi walked around with her.
Check out that proud grin!
Getting off the pony ride was very. very. very sad.
But we did get to do the carousel before we left! Yay!

What a great day for mimi and popi! It's so much fun to look at the pictures and remember our time with you all : ) Sissy is awfully cute on the "nay"!
