You have got to be kidding me.

The family took a whirlwind trip down to Austin this weekend so we could meet Baby Miles (belonging to Supermom Paige of course)! We had such a total blast hanging out with the Erickson crew for the day on Saturday! Mattie and Caroline had fun playing and squabbling over toys and I got to spend a good amount of time holding a precious newborn. Oh my gosh, you forget how teeny tiny a brand new baby is! We even got to stop by and spend some time with Mattie's Cousin Lily too. Sissy had a big day!

The title of my post refers to our drive down to Austin on Friday evening. We left at seven, thinking she would fall asleep somewhere around her normal bedtime (7:30ish) and we would have a nice relaxing drive where Matt and I could chat and catch up about our week. Apparently I don't know my daughter too well. Let's just say she fell asleep around 10 after 10 when we were about 30 minutes away. It was not pretty.

Also, I am a total idiot and didn't bring my camera with us, so I have zero pictures of the cuteness from the weekend. The title of my post could also refer to my lack of planning on this issue. So in the absence of pictures that go along with the post, I thought I would share a few we tried to get of Sissy in her church dress yesterday. Thanks to her Mamaw for this cute summer dress!
