My Little Helper!

Sissy is definitely in the "helper" phase these days. She loves to help Mama and Daddy with all sorts of things around the house. She is really into washing dishes and requests to wash dishes almost every night. So I usually let her "wash" whatever dishes she has used that day. I am pretty sure more water winds up all over the counter, floor and her clothes than anywhere else, but she loves it. I got smart after the first time and now put a big towel down under her :)

I am continually blown away by her chatter and the things she comes out with. This evening while we were eating, she said a string of chatter that basically went like this - Mama, we don't eat food that falls on the floor. Why? Because we might get germs and get sick. Daddy got sick one time. And Mimi told me not to go in there!

This was back from when Matt had strep throat the week after her birthday (in August) and we quarantined him to his room for like three days. I couldn't believe she remembered that really. Guess I better be really careful what I tell her!!!
