Benjamin Michael Vietti made his way into the world at 12:49 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. He weighed 7 lbs and 14 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. My mom came into town on Sunday, so Matt and I were planning to go on a date night Tuesday night. Ben had other plans because by the time Matt got home from work at 6:30 I had started timing contractions. And not too long later he was here!
And Mimi was so glad she had come into town early!
Big Sister was anxious to come up the next morning right away.
She was very sweet and loving, wanting to rub his head and hold him.
Ben is such a stellar brother already . . . .he knew she would love a Belle doll.

We have had lots of sweet visitors! Including Mimi and Nanny everyday but for some reason I don't have any pictures of them with Ben. Probably because they are busy with Mattie!
And Daddy is super happy that Ben came just in time to spend our time in the hospital watching the Big 12 tournament!!!!

We take him home tomorrow and then the real fun begins!!!!!!

He is the cutest thing ever!!!!! I am so happy for you and Matt! I can't wait to meet him. Soon, we can have fun play dates!! Your little family is complete now!
Benjamin looks so much like Mattie when she was a newborn! Congratulations, guys! I hope your first weekend at home as a family of four went well!
