Fishies

In honor of Mattie learning how to make a fish face, we decided it was time to take her to the aquarium on Sunday afternoon! Well, also it is 150 degrees outside, and we can only chase her in circles around our house so many times before we all go a little stir crazy ;)

Sis enjoyed taking in the rain forest part of the aquarium.

She particularly enjoyed the Mayan dancers. She stared with her eyes wide open and didn't make a peep the whole time during their performance.
I am not sure if she was really taking in the fish, or trying to flirt with the people on the other side of the tank. Either way, she had a grand time on these displays.

By the time we got to the cute penguins, Mattie was no longer thrilled to be held and wanted only to walk around, so our trip didn't last tooooo long. But it was fun! I suspect we will be going a lot as she gets older :)
