Well the nursery has been finished for a few weeks now - I have even had these pictures on my camera for at least two weeks, but I keep forgetting to put them up! I am super happy with the way it turned out - we wanted to do a "light" vintage baseball theme, because of Daddy's absolute love of all things baseball.
The main colors of the room are blue, red and chocolate brown. The walls are a cream, with a light brown accent wall behind the crib (it looks kind of green in these pics for some reason . . . ). I had the constraint of making the green glider from Mattie's nursery work in the new room (totally wish I would have gotten it in a neutral brown - oh well!). Luckily I found the material for the sheets with the vintage baseball players that has green grass that matches perfectly. It gives it a little bit of a link. I also decided this time I didn't want a four piece set with bumpers and a quilt and everything - I am just using mesh/breathable bumpers. The whole look started with the sheet material I found and loved. A huge thanks to my friend Lee for doing the bedding and pillow, and turning my vision into reality! (If anyone needs bedding made, let me know and I will give you her info!)
This is what you see when you walk in the room.
I love the Norman Rockwell print of the little boys getting ready to play baseball.
Just a different view. The curtains are navy, but it is kind of hard to tell in the pics.

View from the crib side. We have Matt's Albert Pujols ball on the shelf, which may or may not be coming down depending on how his negotiations go with the Cardinals this year!
Close up pic of the sheets and bedskirt - isn't the insert on the bedskirt a nice touch? (Thanks, Lee!)
Hope ya'll like it!
