I successfully made my first road trip with both kids this week! We took a quick trip down to Waco to see a few of our besties, the Watwoods and Clements! Although if you would have been in the car with us on the way back, you could probably question my definition of successful. Unfortunately I only took one picture the whole time. I guess I had my hands full or something. . . but this is Mattie and Libby at the Cameron Park Zoo. It was a great cool sunny morning for some zoo action!
And Daddy ran a half marathon today! And set a PR (that's a personal record for those of you who don't speak runner). We met him close to the finish line to cheer him on. If you look real closely behind the lady in the pink shirt, you can see Matt running the last tenth of a mile carrying Mattie. Because everyone who has run 13 miles wants to run another minute carrying their 35 pound daughter! And he still set a PR :)
