The word of the day is princess. . . .every day.

Well, princess palooza continues in the Vietti house! Earlier, Mattie was getting ready for her bath and Matt and I were both in her room. She came running up to us naked and yelled "I LOVE PRINCESSES!" Um, okay Sissy, we know. Haha!
Sissy went to get her hair cut on Friday. I always think she looks so grown up when she gets it cut! She loves going to see Miss Tiffany, and this was the best she had behaved when going. She didn't have to sit on my lap, and she requested "princess hair" from Miss Tiffany.
Nerdy smile with Mama's necklace she confiscated from me.
Also on Friday, we got to go to the Disney store for her to pick out an Ariel doll. I have been full on bribing her to get her to stay in her room in the morning, and she did good all week, so we got to go!
This was Sissy (and Ariel) watching the big screen in the store. I love this picture because it shows her so enthralled!
And surprise! Popi came to town! He actually came on Thursday for a long weekend and it was great having him here. Benjamin took a good liking to Popi and even fell asleep on his shoulder, and of course Mattie enjoyed bossing Popi around and getting him to tell her "Ginny stories." Matt and I got to go meet some friends for drinks after the kids were in bed Friday night and go on a run together Sunday morning which was a real treat!
The three boys at dinner. . . .I loved the way Ben was looking up at Matt in this picture.
And to top everything off, Mattie got to go to a princess birthday party on Saturday (Happy Birthday to Anna!) complete with a princes bounce house. Mattie of course wants a princess bounce house at her birthday party, but since her birthday is the middle of August, we shall see. . . . my little princess was one sweaty, tired mess Saturday afternoon that is for sure! I sure do love that girl though :)

Does Mattie have on some fancy princess sandals also. What a riot. One day she will surely move up from princess to queen (of the household). Oops.....she already is!!! Little Ben is such a sweetie and Popi loved getting to hold him and have lots of snuggle time; )
