Whenever I have told people that my grandparents were coming to visit (not the kids' grandparents) they are so impressed. We are so lucky to have them come and see us! Mattie has been super happy with someone here who wants to play and read with her all the time. We have had a pretty low key weekend, just enjoying family time and the babes. . .
We are working on trying to make it look like fall, even if it doesn't feel like fall. Mattie and Mamaw and I picked out our new scarecrows at Michael's yesterday. Sissy still loved them, but not as much as last year.
We took a trip to the dollar store to pick up a few things, and Mattie always gets to pick out one thing she wants. Even with all of the princess stuff they had, she picked out a little plastic bat and ball. But she couldn't really hit the little whiffle ball, so she ran to the backyard and said "let's get a bigger ball."
And Ben went in the baby swing at the park for the first time!
We had park time and a picnic lunch on Friday. Other than that, we have been watching a lot of baseball all weekend and enjoying the rain today. Hope everyone had a great one!
