I almost dropped my baa in the shark tank. . .

First and foremost, we have to give a blog birthday shout out to Mattie's absolute favorite dude! 

Happy Birthday Jacob!  May Mattie always love you as much as she does today!

On Thursday afternoon I asked Mattie if she wanted to go to the aquarium on Friday, and she replied, only if Jacob can come. (Yes, that is a cheetah right behind them!)

 My little stinker insisted on taking her "baa" to the aquarium and then proceeded to dangle him above the shark tank. I kid you not. She has been telling everyone, I almost dropped my baa in the shark tank. And then the grown ups look at me like I'm crazy. 

 Ben is really getting the hang of our chick fil a trips, now that he can sit up. He'll be eating nuggets in a few months ;)

 We had perfect weather this weekend, and enjoyed a lot of family time after Daddy got home Friday. Saturday was a lazy morning . . .Sissy had to check her email for quite awhile before she could get out of her nightgown.

 We finally got her dressed for a trip to the park. Much to my surprise, she is really enjoying the sit 'n ride that Nanny hosed off for us. I just assumed she wouldn't like it, so I never really tried.

 The whole family wore our UT gear on Saturday. When I went to get the kids stuff this year, Mattie said the orange shirts were for boys and she needed pink.

 We went to our neighborhood's 1st Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday and saw tons of friends. I think our whole church was there.  It was a little chaotic, and I was more worried about not losing my child than taking pictures. But it was pretty fun!  More bounces houses will be needed next year though.

Speaking of church, Sissy's choir, The Cherubs, made their debut in the traditional service on Sunday. Mattie was pretty excited and did a good job. There was a little boy in her class who kind of stole the show, but I tried to pay attention to her when I wasn't wiping tears of laughter out of my eyes.

 And here is my handsome boy before church! I don't get any pics of them together before church because I have been going a little later with Ben so that he can get at least a little nap before we take him to the nursery. Couldn't you just eat him up!
