Happy Friday! We had a role reversal Friday, as Matt had a vacation day to burn today, and I had some work to get done. So he stayed home with the babes while I went into the office this morning, and then did some Christmas shopping this afternoon. It was busier than my usual Fridays, but good to get some stuff done.
Sissy has been asking/begging to make a gingerbread house for a couple of weeks now. I don't even know how she knew about them, but she was SO excited when I asked her if she was ready this afternoon! You could just hear the delight in her voice!
You should have seen the picture on the box - it was SO fancy - and Mattie really wanted hers to look like that. And the icing was in bags and she wanted to help put everything on herself. Ha! I helped with some of the icing, but she did ALL of the candy placement - every piece.
Speaking of things not being easy, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anything done with Ben right now! This was me trying to get the dishwasher unloaded - Sissy wanted to "help" me wash dishes and Ben wanted to crawl in the dishwasher. He is so fast!
Today is my little man's nine month birthday! He could barely be bothered to look at me for this picture. . . .
He was having so much fun looking around Sissy's kitchen!
