Even thought we had our big birthday celebration with the grandparents last weekend, we couldn't help but celebrate again for Ben's actual birthday on Friday! We started out with just a few presents, which of course, Sissy had to help open and play with right away. . . .
Matt took the day off of work and it was cold and rainy, so we had a family outing to the Aquarium. It was the first time we had Ben in a few months, so the first time Ben was really old enough to be interested. Fun!

Mattie had a big time too ;)
Boo couldn't quite make it through the morning without a snooze. Mama loved every second of it!
For a special treat, we ate lunch at the aquarium.
This was a big hit with both of the munchkins!
After nap time and some play time at home, we went to Tony's (of course) with some of our besties, the Mutschellers. The meatballs did not disappoint, right Ben?
Of course we had to have cupcakes! Sissy insisted on chocolate this time!
These two hambones were excited for cupcakes too!
I am not sure how much of this cupcake he actually ate, but he had fun with it!

he is the cutest. how is he ONE?? maybe we can have a belated little celebration when we come :). i love the pic of him sleeping on you in the carrier...he will ALWAYS be your baby :). i also can't get over how much he looks like matt (with dark hair!). can't wait to see all 4 of you!! xoxo!!
