As the title of the post suggests, this weekend was ALL ABOUT BEN!!! We celebrated Ben's birthday - family style - a few days early, and also had his baptism this morning at church. Sorry for the picture overload, but I think I took about 100 this weekend.

Mimi and Popi arrived mid-week to get things started. . .
and Nanny and Pops arrived Saturday afternoon to bring it home! We had a great Saturday afternoon just playing and catching up. Matt and I both feel so blessed that our parents don't just "get along," they really enjoy each other's company. It makes family celebrations so great!
We grilled out and had a family dinner at home, before singing and eating cupcakes.

This morning was Ben's baptism at church. We felt so loved, surrounded by our amazing family, but also our sweet friends and our church family. What a great morning!

Sadly, this is the best family picture we got! The older children's choir was practicing while we were trying to do pics, and both the kids were mesmerized with them!

This is an action shot - the actual "water on the head." Ben did so well during the whole thing, he actually had the whole church cracking up because he wanted to go to the pastor early! All the little old ladies were saying it was the cutest thing they had ever seen. I have a video my dad took, so I will try to get it up another time.
As a bonus- Sissy's choir also sang today in church, so here is an action shot of her. Hilarious!
Everything about the weekend was just right - friends, family and lots of lovin' for my sweet boy Ben!!!
