I think I mentioned a few weeks ago that we are working on a project to update and make out den and living space more fun and functional. Last week, we sold our old furniture, so we thought I convinced Matt it would be a super idea to go ahead and paint the den and kitchen while we were pretty empty. Painting two rooms in two days with two kids = two crazy parents. But between naps and working after bed, and a few other things, we got it done! We still had some things to finish up at night this week, and some activity almost every night this week, but the painting part is pretty much wrapped up. All that to say, sorry for no blog and pictures to speak of for the past seven days!
I have some random pictures from last week . . . Sister finally got to have her BFF from school, Ryse, come home with her. Ryse asks me every day if she can come home with us, or if Mattie can come home with her, so she was super excited last week when I said yes!

We had another playdate last Friday with two friends, and Ben finally got to have someone his age to play with! Reed was super excited, can you tell? Ben was so happy, he just followed her around like a big ole nerd.
Today was beautiful outside! So perfect!
Yesterday I took Boo in for his one-year check up. He had been pretty fussy this week, and even came home early from school one day with a temp. But he is cutting his bottom molars, and so I really didn't think twice about it. He has his first ear infection! I couldn't believe it! They also tested him for strep, but it was negative. I felt like mother of the year. . . .
So he has been a little grumpy today.
But he is mostly my sweetheart!
Tonight we went to TONY'S which made my little nerd happy :)
