Happy Monday Peeps! Despite being out way past our collective bedtimes with the kids last night, my Monday was a pretty good one! It was a busy weekend for sure, and I didn't squeeze any blogging time obviously! Here is a catch up on our happenings. . . .

We have been trying to soak up every bit of outside that we can lately, and I feed the kids outside whenever possible. I know it will be way too hot way too soon!
I love how Ben is looking in this picture - he LOVES my cell phone, as I have said before, and is quite distressed when I use it to take his picture and am not giving it to him to chew on.
(Also, like his pink sippy cup? We are trying to break stereotypes around here - ha!)
I don't think I've mentioned that Mattie is doing a new swim class, and it is every day Mon-Fri for three weeks. She is loving it so far, and the parents aren't allowed to stay and watch so I have no idea how she is doing. On Thursday, I had to pick her up from school, run her to swim, then pick her back up and get her dressed quickly to go back to school for her spring program. It was cute, and they did some "spring" themed songs and wore these grass hats with dandelions on then. We took her out to Tony's after to celebrate :) Tragically, we left her flower hat on the table when we left and it got taken out with the trash. But Mama has been making hats with her every day since to try and compensate.
Friday we went on a zoo outing with some friends! This may be our last zoo trip until October - it was pretty h.o.t. and crowded.
Ben did get to feed the giraffes for the first time, but hands down the water area was his favorite activity!
The weekend flew by - two birthday parties Saturday (Mattie and RYSE! below) and church on Sunday, followed by a fun festival and dinner out with friends Sunday night - WHEW! And how did it happen that this weekend is Memorial Day weekend already and summer is starting!?!?!?
