The Vietti Clan met up with some friends for a fun Octoberfest on Thursday night. BTW - not sure why they are called Octoberfests when they happen in September? Maybe someone can enlighten me. To say the kids had fun was an understatement . . .and we did too of course!
Live polka music and a huge space to run in, yes please!

Inside the tent, Ben especially enjoyed the sites and sounds. And chowing down with Dada too. Mattie and the other bigger kids were busy dominating the bounce houses.

Friday and Saturday were good days - lots of errands and chores and runs and play time. Sissy was ecstatic to get invited to a pj playdate with Ada-Grace on Saturday night. Matt and I enjoyed having Ben to ourselves. I am with Mattie all the time, just the two of us, but it is very rare that we both have one of them together, especially Ben. We took him out to eat an early dinner at our favorite burger spot, and then we came home to watch the Michigan game. At least Ben enjoyed the Go Blue cheering, even if the game wasn't great.
And I was just thinking yesterday that Ben had really turned a corner and was really communicating better, was not as fussy, etc. He has been so much happier (and easier) the past few weeks. And then he was pretty much like this all day - crying or whining unless being held by Mama! He was in no mood for pictures. But I guess we all have off days.
Someone was happy to give me some silly poses.
Happy Sunday ya'll!
