Happy Valentine's Day! I know it is a made-up holiday, but I love making Valentine's special for the kids. I had to leave before they woke up, so I left them balloons and little treats at their breakfast spots. Daddy went and picked up donuts for them while I was getting ready and of course, they had their parties at school. I had to get a bag to put all of Mattie's cards, candy, treats, etc. in when I picked her up today. Craziness! And they were so hyped up from all of the sugar . . . but luckily we had soccer practice after school. Mattie played her heart out and loved it, and I made Ben chase a ball around the whole time to keep him busy too. Hoping for an early bedtime for the kids and happy hour and watching Sunday's Downton Abbey with my hubby!
