TGIF

I say all the time that I don't know what I would do if I had a job where I had to be in the office M-F 8-5. It would kill me! I love my Fridays at home with the kids! I won't lie though, sometimes I look at the clock about 9 o'clock and think, wow it is going to be a long day. ;)

We had a good day mostly at home, with a few errands thrown in. Ben is loving books right now! For so long, he would just throw books if I tried to read with him, and now he will take me by the hand and say "sit" and pat the rocker for me to sit and read to him. 

 Mattie is still loving her stuffed animals and dolls of any kind. See how many animals had to join her for lunch? At least one animal accompanies us everywhere. Today we played hide and seek inside for about an hour. Every time Mattie hid, she would pick a different animal to hide with her. 

 Sister is also loving to play school. She will run and set up her class as soon as we get home in the afternoons, or head to her room for class right after breakfast on days we are at home. And Miss Mattie the teacher does NOT want her brother in her classroom at all! Mama is usually the "officer" (office worker), and she will bring me sick kids to take care of, or tell me to look on my computer or make phone calls. This is the teacher reading a story to her class. 

 We got to enjoy the 60 degree weather outside for a few hours this afternoon. I will shut the gate and leave the backdoor open while I make their dinner if it is nice out. Ben got into the sandbox today while I was inside. I noticed it was a little too quiet, and this is what I found! If you look close you can see some sand-crusted snot on his face. Nice!
