Well hello there world! A few of you may know I have been doing a fabulous Bible study based on the book Seven by Jenn Hatmaker. Through the study, we are fasting in seven different areas of our lives for a week each. This last week was a media fast . . . so no internet, facebook, blogs, instagram, tv, movies, etc. The media fast week ended last night, and so I am excited to be able to post a blog this morning :)
So what have we been up to the last week? I honestly can't remember too much of last week, it already seems like so long ago! But thankfully the pictures on my phone can help prod my aging brain along . . . .
Saturday was supposed to start our with Sissy's first soccer game after a two-week hiatus for spring break. But we woke up to thunderstorms, so soccer was a no go. Actually, it was so dark and rainy outside that the kids and I all slept in so late (for us) and it was fabulous. (Matt had gotten up early to work.) We finally got up and dressed to head to our church's Easter celebration, which had to be moved inside because of the mentioned thunderstorms.

Ben and Nicholas were excited to get some loot of their own.

The petting zoo had to be relocated to the covered drop-off outside of the sanctuary. Daddy took Ben while Mattie and I headed over to Ada-Grace's birthday party.

The princess party was precious, and a very special guest even made an appearance. The girls were thrilled, obviously. Although, later on in the day, Mattie was talking to Mimi on the phone and telling her about the party. She said "Belle came to the party . . . well, actually I think it was someone dressed up as Belle." I asked her why she thought that and she sprinted to her room to get her autograph book from our Disney World trip. She proudly pointed to her picture with Belle from our trip and said, "See Mama, this is what Belle looks like and she looks different from the girl today." Ha!

Our very own Matt Vietti got asked to portray Jesus in the Palm Sunday processional with the children again this year. How lucky am I to be married to this guy???

And that is about all I got. Got to get to work!
