The title pretty much sums up our weekend :) We didn't have a lot planned for Saturday . . .just Mattie's soccer game, yard work, play time outside with friends, naps . . .the makings of a nice and relaxing Saturday for the whole family.
Today was our church's 2nd annual Here to Serve Sunday, which I LOVE. I wish we did it once a month instead of once a year. We don't have regular Sunday school or worship, we just go out into the community and do service projects instead! Mattie and I went to one of the local elementary schools that doesn't get much PTA love this morning and helped with cleaning, organizing and decorating. And then my sweet hubby led a cookout at Brookshire apartments (where we have apartment church) this afternoon. Our whole family was there, and I didn't get to do much but keep up with Ben, but we served a lot of food and had happy hearts!
And in other news, Ben really loves his new sunglasses Mimi got him.
Seriously, loves them.

Hilarious! He is still wearing those sunglasses! He does love them! I got the pleasure of witnessing it. Love that boy!
