We don't take Monday night dinners too serious at our house!
Every day when I pick Mattie up from school, she asks if we can do "something fun," which is code for going out to eat, having a friend over, etc. Since eating out is more of a once a week kind of treat for us (and is really not that fun with Ben anyways!), I have tried to get creative with our "something fun," so that I just don't tell her no all the time. Sometimes it is eating breakfast for dinner in our pjs or having a picnic outside. Yesterday was picnic in the tent! Whatever makes us happy is my Monday motto :)
