Our crew had a fantastic 4th of July! We started off the day by deciding last minute to hit up the Lake Highlands parade. Luckily we have some friends that live on the parade route! Unluckily, Mattie dropped her flag down the storm drain right before the parade started, and this was how she felt about it:

The parade started with a FIRE TRUCK. This made Ben super happy. He said Mama, I saw firetruck, at least 50 times.
This girl perked up once she a) took Ben's flag and b) remembered that they throw candy at the parade.
We spent the rest of the day swimming, eating, hanging with friends, eating, swimming and enjoying our holiday. Today has been recovery and chores, but we are all home together which is nice! Hope you are all enjoying your holiday too!
