So, my big girl and I had a very special day today! No school or work for us :)
We left the house after breakfast and rode the train down to Fair Park for Summer Adventures!
Summer Adventures is basically the State of Texas Fair, but you just pay a flat ticket fee to get in and ride unlimited rides. Kristin and Libby drove up from Waco to meet us there!
It was SO fun. So clean and easy and not crowded at all. We didn't wait in one line.
(I only have blurry phone pics because I didn't haul my camera.)
Rides and Rides and Rides. Mattie loves rides. She likes scary rides. Because she is so tall, she can ride some of the "big kid" rides with me accompanying her. After a few I had to tell her I was going to throw up if we did anymore. For real. I guess that means I'm old?
Um, and fair food!
It was such a fun day, and not even too hot for a Texas summer! I am so thankful for Kristin and our (about 20 year) friendship!
This little nerd had to go to school today. But he had a 4th of July party and wore this hat!
