We went into this weekend stretch with nothing big on the calendar, which is always a nice relief. Thursday, I let the kids decide what to do, so we rode the train and trolley to the museum downtown . . . this is becoming a favorite for sure. Friday we just took care of some errands and things around the house and then spent time with friends in the afternoon. We are trying to get Sissy all ready for kindergarden which starts in FOUR weeks! We are getting her uniforms and shoes and I am working to boost her confidence and excitement level. This week she figured out that Ben will get to stay home with me on Fridays while she goes to school and she was. not. pleased. at. all.
Ben got a haircut Saturday and Daddy took his girl on a date to the movies. This little love still has to have a stuffed animal with her at all times.
I wanted to get a cute picture of the two of them before church this morning, especially showing Ben's haircut, but he was not too cooperative. He insisted that "Sissy help" him get his shoes on. And then he promptly slid out of the chair and rolled around on the floor. And his hair looks crazy in this picture anyways. He's two, what can I say????
