A little early birthday!

We hit a big milestone this week . . . Wednesday was Sissy's last day at her sweet school she has gone to since she was a baby!!! I didn't have to get all emotional when I picked her up though, because she was surprised by Nanny and Lilly picking her up instead! They came up for an early birthday surprise for the almost five year old. Mattie has been DYING to go back to Fair Park before school starts. So after some pool time and a sleepover Wednesday night, we hit Fair Park for the soon-to-be birthday girl!

Ben was really not sure he wanted to do any rides at all. But he didn't mind me and Nanny carrying him around and watching the girls!

He finally warmed up enough to ride both the tractors and the boats. They also had a train display which was the highlight for him. And he loved the log ride! He was too scared to ride most of the baby rides, but he loved the log ride. Go figure?!?!

The girls loved every second of every ride! They had the roller coaster to themselves and rode it a few times in a row.

This afternoon we hit the road to drive to Florida. It is Ben's first beach trip and I have never seen a more welcome sight than this:

Two hours in and both kids are still sleeping so I thought, why not blog! Wish us luck for the rest of the drive ;)
