Happy Labor Day everyone! We had a very non-laboring family day, which was fab.u.lous. It was raining this morning, so we decided to make a family trip to the Aquarium and out to lunch at Jason's Deli.

The aquarium has a lot of memories for us . . .it was the first place we got a membership to in Dallas and one of the first places Mattie and I used to go on our Friday outings. And, perhaps most importantly, it was on one of those early visits that Mattie got her beloved Tiger. Who she still sleeps with every night. Who she took for her first kindergarten show and tell last Friday because he is her most special animal. In fact, she fell tonight and hit her head, and then she needed her Tiger to comfort her.

Tiger has long gone with us everywhere.
We have had lots of special visits to the Aquarium, like this early one with Sophie . . .
We even hit the aquarium for Ben's first birthday . . . (Speaking of my BABY) . . .
And her favorite thing to do is always visit the tiger (also known as the jaguar!)
You know, just hanging out and reading my book by the tiger.
And my sweet kindergartener today, waiting for her tiger to make an appearance!!!
