Matt and I have been married (almost) TEN years. Can you believe it? I know you were thinking I could not possibly be that old. But it is true. I couldn't have spent ten years with a better man, that is for sure. And while we love our children very very very much, we decided our first vacation as a couple since having these dear children join us on earth was in order. So we headed to Mexico last Friday and came home Wednesday. It was so fabulous I can't even describe it. I had forgotten what it feels like to really relax and have fun with Matt!

The water was so clear you could see your toes, and so blue it looked like it had food coloring.
We took nerdy "selfies" every night at dinner. Having a date breakfast, day, lunch, dinner every day for six days was AMAZING.

Oh yeah, the kids were in great hands with Mimi and Popi, with an assist by Nanny too. We can't thank them enough for giving us this time away!!!!
