Well, the government has shut down, and in case anyone was wondering, that includes EPA Region 6. We aren't sure if we will get paid, but one can hope. So in the meantime, I am just trying to make the most of the unexpected vacation!!!
I had lunch with Sissy at school on Wednesday, and have been walking her to school every morning and picking her up every afternoon.
Ben and I hit the aquarium yesterday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. He got to feed the birds blueberries.
Then we walked over and had lunch in the park. Couldn't get him to be too still for a picture . . .
And it didn't take too long before he was laying down in the fountains. Thank goodness for a change of clothes!
Today, me and my sidekick ran some errands, did a few chores and delivered a meal to friends with a new baby. We are looking forward to a great family weekend and a COLD FRONT! WOOHOO!
