The weather in Michigan is a little more "fall" than the weather in Texas so far! Mimi of course wanted to take us to visit a corn maze - these things are NO joke. We took the "short" exit.
Of course we also did a hayride, drank hot cider and Mattie's favorite - saw the farm animals.
The place had what was essentially a small swimming pool of corn. Mattie played and played in it, racing across, burying my feet and making "corn angels."
Sissy and Popi had a little early morning swing time outside on morning. A little different that our breakfasts outside during the summer!
It has been such a nice treat to come home and visit unexpectedly. . . . me and Mattie having a little time away . . . I have spent a lot of time on the couch by the fire :)
